RADIO WORKS USA
TWO-WAY RADIO SERVICE AND REPAIR POLICY
PURPOSE
This policy outlines procedures for sending two-way radios for service and repair to Radio Works USA, including quote requirements, storage and carrier loss.
1. Service and Repair
Radios must be sent with a description of the issues. Radio Works USA offers a flat-rate repair cost covering parts and labor. The customer understands that if the radio is beyond repair there is no fee or cost for that diagnosis, the unrepairable radio will be sent back to the customer. Additional costs for cosmetic repairs or manufacturer-required parts will be considered above and beyond the flat rate repair fees. The customer understands there may be additional costs due, so once the radio is sent to us, the customer agrees to pay for all work completed, even if additional costs arise, with a per radio cap not to exceed $300 total. If the radio is required to be sent to the manufacturer, the customer will be notified to decide if they want to proceed.
2. Approval Process
A revised purchase order will be required if additional repairs or parts are needed. The customer must approve the quote or revised order before the radio(s) can be shipped back to the customer.
3. Storage and Return
Radio Works USA does not store radios. Uncollected radios will incur a daily storage fee of $5 per radio, retroactive to the date an initial or revised quote is given or a request for a purchase order is made. An initial quote is defined here as not issued originally before radio[s] were shipped to Radio Works USA. a Revised quote is defined here as issued after an original quote was given prior to receiving the broken radio[s]. If payment is not collected within 90 days, the radio will be considered abandoned.
4. Warranty
Repairs are covered by a 90-day warranty for labor and parts, excluding misuse or unauthorized repairs. If the radio has any issues within the 90 day warranty period, Radio Works USA will repair the radio for free, less shipping costs.
5. Customer Responsibility
Customers must approve quotes and purchase orders promptly to avoid delays. Payment is due upon completion of repairs, dependent on the terms and conditions of the customer’s account.
